NDIS plans and funding
Yes. Supportr works with self-managed participants. You manage your own NDIS funds and pay Supportr directly from your plan budget.
Yes. If you have a plan manager, they pay Supportr on your behalf. You choose your own providers (including unregistered providers like Supportr) and your plan manager handles the payments.
No. Supportr is not currently registered with the NDIS. NDIA-managed (agency-managed) plans can only use registered providers. If your plan is agency-managed, you would need to switch to self or plan management to use Supportr.
Your NDIS planner or LAC can explain how to request a change to your plan management type.
Most of Supportr's services are funded under Core Supports, specifically:
- 01: Daily Activities (for daily living and in-home support)
- 04: Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation

Call us on (07) 3184 4445 or fill in the contact form. We'll ask a few questions about your needs and plan type, then arrange a free consultation at a time that suits you.
After your initial consultation, we typically have support in place within 1 to 2 weeks. The timeline depends on your location, the type of support you need, and team member availability in your area.
We meet you at home or by phone/video call. Whatever suits you. We talk about what you want to achieve, how you like to be supported, and what your NDIS plan covers. There's no obligation and no pressure to sign anything.
We provide NDIS support across more than 370 suburbs of South East Queensland — covering Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, the Gold Coast, Moreton Bay, Redland City and the Scenic Rim, from Caboolture in the north to the southern Gold Coast and west to Ipswich. How Supportr works
We match you with a small group of team members based on your support needs, your location, and your preferences. You meet your team before support starts. We keep that team consistent: same people, visit after visit.
Tell us. We take compatibility seriously. If a team member isn't the right fit, we'll make a change. Your support works better when you're comfortable with the people around you.
Yes. Every Supportr team member holds:
- A current NDIS Worker Screening clearance
- A current first aid and CPR certificate
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Many team members hold additional qualifications in disability support, community services, or allied health.
We have a minimum shift length for individual supports, which we'll discuss during your consultation. There's no minimum weekly or monthly commitment. Your schedule is built around what works for you.
No. Supportr provides direct support services: daily living, community participation, in-home support and group activities. We do not currently provide support coordination or specialist support coordination.
Yes. There are no lock-in contracts. You can end services with Supportr at any time with reasonable notice, as outlined in your service agreement. We'd rather you tell us if something isn't working so we can try to fix it.
Supportr charges in line with the current NDIS Price Guide rate limits. Exact rates depend on the type of support, time of day, and day of week (weekday, Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday rates apply). Because you are self-managed or plan-managed, you use your NDIS funding to pay — there is no out-of-pocket cost to you beyond your NDIS budget.
