Who we support

Supportr works with NDIS participants across South East Queensland. Our team members have experience supporting people with a wide range of disabilities.

Support that starts with you

Every person's disability affects them differently. Two people with the same diagnosis can have very different support needs, communication styles, and goals. That's why Supportr doesn't start with a generic support package. We start by understanding you.

Our intake process asks about your daily routines, what you find challenging, what you enjoy, and what you want to achieve. We use that to build a support plan and match you with team members who have relevant experience and the right fit for your personality.

Conditions we have experience with

Our team members have supported participants with the following conditions. This list is not exhaustive. If you have a question about a specific condition, call us.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Intellectual disability Acquired brain injury (ABI) Cerebral palsy Down syndrome Spinal cord injury Multiple sclerosis (MS) Psychosocial disability Hearing impairment Vision impairment Physical disability Epilepsy Parkinson's disease Stroke Traumatic brain injury Muscular dystrophy

Ages and situations

Supportr works with adults and young people (age 16+) who hold an active NDIS plan. We work with both participants and their families or carers.

We don't require a specific level of function or independence. Whether you need a few hours of support each week or more intensive day-to-day assistance, we'll work with you to build the right schedule.

Families and carers

We recognise that families and carers are often heavily involved in coordinating support. We welcome your input during intake and keep communication open so you're not left guessing. We can include you in planning discussions as much or as little as the participant prefers.

Not sure if we're the right fit?

Call us and describe your situation. We'll be direct about whether we can help and what that would look like.
