Cleveland is the historic administrative and civic centre of Redland City, sitting on the bay roughly 25 kilometres south-east of central Brisbane. The suburb is built around two focal points — the village shopping area inland and the Cleveland Point foreshore precinct, with its heritage lighthouse, parkland and waterfront. Toondah Harbour, also at Cleveland, is the mainland gateway for ferries to North Stradbroke Island, giving the suburb a distinctive maritime character.

Redland Hospital, the area's public hospital, is within the suburb itself, and Cleveland is well supplied with medical practices, allied-health providers and community services. Supportr provides consistent NDIS support to participants throughout Cleveland — personal care and daily living routines at home, in-home domestic support, and social and community participation along the foreshore, at the markets and across the wider Redlands. We assign each person a small team of two or three support workers and keep that team stable, so support is reliable and familiar. We work with both self-managed and plan-managed participants and shape each schedule around individual goals.
